What Is a Sex Doll Skeleton and EVO Skeleton?

A sex doll skeleton is an internal metal frame built inside the doll’s body. It provides structure, links the main parts of the doll and gives controlled movement thru a series of joints.

An internal skeleton would be pretty much essential if a doll were to retain its shape, or be able to adopt different poses, in a realistic way. The exact movement and flexibility depend on the skeleton design, the thickness and flexibility of the surrounding TPE or silicone.

A typical sex doll skeleton frame may include:

A central metal spine for support and bending

Hip joints for sitting and leg movement

Knee and ankle joints for positioning the legs

Unlike human bones, a doll skeleton is a mechanical structure. Its joints are designed for a specific range of movement rather than unrestricted motion. The surrounding TPE or silicone can also affect how far a joint can move. For this reason, joints should never be forced beyond their natural resistance.

An EVO skeleton is an upgraded internal skeleton system designed for advanced sex dolls.

It focuses on improved joint articulation, flexibility, strength and durability compared to a conventional skeleton.

One of the main features is the double-gear knee joint which allows for a larger range of motion, theoretically capable of folding up to 180°. However, the thickness and flexibility of the silicone or TPE surrounding the actual usable range may be limited.

The EVO skeleton also features a movable shoulder design. The shoulders can lift and move a little inwards/outwards for more natural-looking adjustments and a wider variety of poses.

The EVO skeleton is made of high-strength alloy with wear-resistant manganese-steel alloy washcloths for strength and wear resistance. Joints are precisely assembled to ensure smooth movement, but also the stability needed to pose repeatedly.

There are two skeleton tension options: Normal Skeleton and Loose Skeleton.

The Normal Skeleton provides more resistance and is better at keeping the doll in a fixed position. A loose skeleton is easier to reposition, but offers less pose retention.

The better choice is a matter of personal preference

If a sex doll skeleton is damaged, the way to fix it is contingent upon what the problem is.

Loose joints: Some models can have the joints tightened or replaced.

Broken internal frame: A broken frame is more complex and usually needs a professional inspection and repair, often at the factory.

Skeleton upgrades: Typically, you don't want to replace a whole skeleton post-purchase. The frame is housed inside the TPE or silicone body and accessing the frame may require opening or disassembly of the outer material, which may cause permanent damage if not done correctly.

This is why it is often safest to choose the correct skeleton option before buying, for the flexibility, stability and durability you want.
